Ali Qais, director general of the state-run Iraqi Oil Tankers Company, has been suspended and referred for investigation over staff training programs and new tankers that remain out of service, an informed source told Shafaq News on Wednesday.
Deputy Director General Kadhim Jakhyour has been appointed acting head of the company pending further action, according to the source.
