Shafaq news/ North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-un, offered a rare apology on Friday for the killing of a South Korean government official by soldiers from the North.
According to Yonhap news, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un apologized on Friday for the lethal shooting of a South Korean official, stating that the incident “shouldn’t have happened” and that he’s “sorry to have disappointed” the South.
In a notice sent to South Korea’s presidential Blue House, Pyongyang said it would “take care not to demolish trust between the North and South.” North Korea also vowed to “prevent this unfortunate incident from happening again.”
