Shafaq News/ On Saturday, Hamas expressed its solidarity with Hezbollah following the official announcement of the death of its Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, due to an Israeli airstrike, emphasizing that "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle is "ongoing."

In a statement of "condolence and solidarity," Hamas condemned the "barbaric Zionist aggression," highlighting the targeting of residential buildings in the Haret Hreik area of Beirut’s southern suburbs. It described this act as a "cowardly terrorist act and a heinous massacre that demonstrates the brutality and savagery of the occupation, which threatens international peace and security amid international silence and paralysis."

Hamas recalled “Nasrallah's history and his path filled with sacrifices for the liberation of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as his supportive positions for our Palestinian people and their resistance." The movement asserted that "the Zionist occupation bears full responsibility for this crime and its serious consequences on the security and stability of the region,” holding the US administration accountable for “its continued support of this occupation."

In addition, the Palestinian movement reiterated its "unconditional solidarity with Hezbollah and the Islamic resistance in Lebanon," stressing the importance of defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Hamas affirmed that "the blood shed in the battle to support the Palestinian people will be a curse that haunts the occupation and will pave the way for resistance that knows no defeat."

In conclusion, Hamas asserted that "history has proven the continuation of resistance against the Zionist enemy despite the sacrifices, and that the martyrs' leaders will be succeeded by a generation of leaders more determined to confront this enemy."

"This crime will only increase the resistance's determination and resolve on the path of the martyrs until victory and the expulsion of the occupation," it expressed with confidence.
