Saudi air defenses intercepted four drones targeting southern Saudi Arabia and three ballistic missiles heading toward the Eastern Province on Tuesday, all launched by Yemen’s Houthis, Saudi-led Coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki said.

Saudi media reported explosions in Dammam and other parts of the Eastern Province, where authorities issued a public warning about a potential threat.

FlightRadar24 data also showed approximately five aircraft circling near King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, indicating possible delays to arrivals. The duration of the disruption remained unclear.

In Yemen, Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV said Saudi airstrikes killed one civilian and wounded three others after hitting a residential building in the Al-Hali neighborhood of Mocha, a coastal city in Taiz province. The broadcaster also reported Saudi strikes on Mocha’s port and surrounding areas and Al-Rawda School in Lahj province’s Al-Maqatirah district, along with gunfire that wounded a civilian in Saada province’s border district of Shada.

On Monday, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree accused Saudi forces of launching 119 air and missile strikes over the previous 24 hours across Sanaa, Al-Jawf, Taiz, Saada, Amran, Ibb, and Lahj.

F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets operating from Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases carried out the airstrikes, while missiles were launched from Jazan, according to Saree, who said Saudi air and missile attacks had reached 3,298 since the latest escalation began.

Meanwhile, Yemen’s internationally recognized government outlined operations against Houthi forces under its ongoing “Dawn of Yemen” offensive. Military spokesperson Col. Majed Abdullah Al-Nuzaili reported 1,276 strikes and attacks over the previous 24 hours against Houthi command centers, defensive positions, artillery sites, reinforcements, supply routes, and weapons depots.

In Taiz, government troops, supported by local resistance fighters and airstrikes, launched surprise assaults on several fronts, targeting Houthi positions and reinforcement movements.

Al-Nuzaili also detailed operations in Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, and southern and southwestern areas, claiming that approximately 382 Houthi commanders and fighters had been “neutralized” or otherwise incapacitated, while 140 military vehicles and heavy weapons were destroyed or disabled.
