The Israeli army warned representatives of Iran still present in Lebanon to leave immediately, granting them 24 hours to depart before facing potential targeting, the military said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced the killing of Daoud Ali Zadeh in Tehran, the highest-ranking Quds Force commander responsible for Iran’s activities in Lebanon, without providing information about the time or location of the assassination.
In a separate statement, the Israeli army said it struck a secret compound known as Min-Zada’i, where it alleged Iran had been developing capabilities related to nuclear weapons.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted that Israel is ready to strike Iran and Lebanon with full force, signaling a firm stance against both countries.
