Shafaq News- Sanaa

Yemen’s Houthi forces claimed on Wednesday to have launched ballistic and cruise missiles and drones at Saudi Aramco facilities in Dhahran and Riyadh and King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed the strikes hit their targets accurately, causing destruction and fires. He described the operation as retaliation for Saudi attacks on Sanaa and other Houthi-controlled areas, alleging that Saudi Arabia had carried out 2,281 air and missile attacks during the recent escalation.

Saree threatened further strikes on Saudi airports and oil facilities in the coming days, warning international shipping companies, civilians, and workers to stay away from and immediately evacuate the facilities identified as targets.

Separately, Saudi-led coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki announced the interception of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward Riyadh, according to a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. The coalition statement did not address the Houthi claims of damage to Saudi oil facilities or report any casualties.

Meanwhile, the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah television channel reported that a woman was killed and four others, including a child, were wounded in an alleged Saudi airstrike on the Bani Amer area in Taiz province. The channel also reported four Saudi airstrikes on Harib district in Marib province.
