Four people were killed in the Nabatieh district on Saturday as Israeli forces launched a new wave of strikes and demolition operations across southern Lebanon, pushing the total number of Lebanese killed or wounded since March 2 above 10,000.

The Lebanese Health Ministry confirmed 2,496 deaths and 7,725 injuries since the start of the Israeli war. At least six people were killed on Friday —the highest single-day toll since the ceasefire was extended.

Strikes on Saturday hit multiple areas across the Nabatieh and Marjayoun districts, as well as the Tyre district and the Beqaa, according to Lebanese media. Israeli forces continued demolishing buildings across several areas of the south and warned residents against returning to the Litani River zone and the valley of al-Salouqi.

The Israeli military said it had targeted four Hezbollah fighters south of the frontline, two of whom were killed in the Litani area. The army separately reported 45 soldiers wounded in southern Lebanon over 48 hours, bringing total Israeli military casualties to 131 since the ceasefire took effect on April 16.

Hezbollah fired a salvo of rockets toward northern Israel, with Israeli air defenses intercepting part of the attack. The group also claimed it struck an Israeli Namer armored vehicle with a drone in the Marjayoun district.

The National Center for Scientific Research documented 478 violations between April 16 and 22 alone.

Around one million people remain displaced as strikes and evacuation orders continue across the south. Israel and Lebanon agreed last week to extend the ceasefire for three weeks following a White House meeting mediated by US President Donald Trump.
