Shafaq News / We will lose control on Corona virus in Sulaymaniyah province due to our limited capacities in hospitals if the residents didn’t stick to the preventive measures, the spokesman of Sulaymaniyah Health Directorate said.

We have three hospitals to receive Coronavirus patients, which have 50 ventilators only,” Yad Naqshbandi, the spokesman of Sulaimaniyah Health Directorate told Shafaq News Agency.

"100 patients with the virus are hospitalized, and we cannot place more than 180 infected people, the numbers are increasing daily in Sulaymaniyah."

Naqshbandi wrote, on his Facebook page, asking citizens to adhere to health instructions, warning that "the disaster will inevitably happen."

Meanwhile the Ministry of Health announced earlier that it had infected 33 new cases of Corona virus in Sulaimaniyah, Halabja and Garmiyan administration, while today a young man, 37, who was infected with the virus died in Sulaimaniyah city.
