At the invitation of the French government, the delegation of Peshmerga Ministry participated in the ceremonies represented by lit the flame of the unknown soldier under the Arc de Triomphe in the French capital, Paris.

The flag of Kurdistan Region was raised alongside the French flag in private ceremonies.
