Shafaq News/ International Islamic Charitable Organization of Kuwait has sent more than 30,000 food parcels to displaced people in camps for displaced people in Kurdistan region, Barzani Foundation said on Wednesday.

Barzani Foundation has launched a campaign to provide food aid to the displaced, said the head of the Foundation, Moussa Ahmed in a press conference held today.

He added that the campaign cost one million dollars through the provision of 34,746 food parcels to nine camps for displacement in the province of Dohuk, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.

He added that more than 17,000 displaced families are equal to more than 86,000 displaced people. He pointed out that the food parcels contains 10 varieties of food enough for one family for a whole month.
