Shafaq News / Representatives of the Kurdish blocs in the Iraqi parliament decided on Thursday, not to vote to pass the government of Muhammad Allawi after differences.

The decision came after a meeting of the Kurds, in which they decided to remain on their position not to participate in voting on the cabinet.

The decision came after information received by Shafaq News, of the failure of negotiations between Allawi and the Kurds, regarding participation in his government.

The Kurds object to the mechanism adopted by the Prime Minister-designate in selecting candidates for his cabinet, as the Kurds require that Kurdistan Region through its main parties must provide candidates for government positions exclusively, while Allawi insists on nominating the government formation by him.
