Shafaq News / 23 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Sulaimaniyah Governorate on Saturday, according to the Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Regional Government .

The new infections belong to 14 men, 8 women and one young girl, the ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency.

18 of the new patients were residents of Sulaymaniyah city, and 5 others from Darbandikhan, Benjowen and Kalar districts as well as Halabja and Baghdad governorates.

The statements pointed out that 4 patients received the infection from previous patients, while the symptoms of the disease appeared on the rest, as laboratory tests confirmed their infection with the virus.
