Shafaq News/ Dozens of people from Sulaimaniyah city from various segments of society gathered on Wednesday on the funeral of the well-known Kurdish poet "Mohammed Omar Othman" nicknamed as Autumn General to his final resting place.

The funeral was attended by social figures and Kurdish intellectuals.

Othman committed suicide inside his home in Sulaimaniyah city on Tuesday evening by hanging himself with a rope. He was born in 1957 , started writing poetry in 1975 and has a book entitled "In alienation."

The " autumn general " remained faithful to his love for a woman who did not want to marry him, and refused to marry throughout his life, to choose loneliness and isolation, according to those close to him.
