Shafaq News/ Omid Ahmed, an official in Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Electricity, said on Thursday that the supply of energy to citizens in winter exceeded last year.
Ahmed said citizens are now equipped with about 20 hours of electricity, which is better than last year.
He added that the situation of electricity in Kurdistan has become better, especially in Dohuk province, which was suffering from lack of energy supply that was solved by securing one million and 200 thousand liters of kerosene, pointing out that citizens are now equipped with 20 hours of electricity, and it is hoped to continue at this rate.
Ahmed pointed out that the supply of electricity in the spring and autumn was better than last year.
