Shafaq News / The school year has ended as the first course’s degree for students will be counted while not conducting final exams for universities and institutes in the region, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Kurdistan Region, Aram Muhammad Qadir announced on Tuesday .

The Minister said in a speech this evening that the school year has ended, considering the grades of the first semester as the basis for success.

He added that, regarding students of medical colleges and dentistry, they will be sent to hospitals for practical application, after which they will take the final exams.

Qadir added that, regarding graduate, diploma, master and doctoral students, they will continue their studies according to previous decisions and continue their curriculum.

The minister added that the student has the right to choose to re-sit in the second round exams if the student passed, but is not satisfied with his/her degree and wants to get a better grade can take the exams again.
