Shafaq News / The leader of Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani received in Salah al-Din, the Kurdish political figure, Othman Baydemir.

A statement issued by Barzani's office said today that " the overall situation and the latest changes and developments in the region were discussed in the meeting as well as views were exchanged regarding the conditions and future of the Kurdish people in the Middle East."

The statement added that "emphasis was placed on adhering to the peaceful message of the people of Kurdistan and adopting ways of dialogue and understanding in order to address the problems."

"In another axis of the meeting between Barzani and Baydemir, the rapprochement between the Kurdish parties and the joint peaceful nationalist discourse was considered as an urgent necessity," the statement added.
