Shafaq News/ Kurdistan’s Counter-Terrorism Service revealed today, Saturday, details of the rocket attack that targeted the city of Erbil.

the Agency said in a statement two drones crashed today, in front of a citizen's house near a village in Erbil governorate, while a third drone crashed in Doumou Mountain.

The statement added, "two drones crashed near the house of a citizen in Al-Tuffah Garden near Mullah Omar in Erbil Governorate, indicating that one of them did not explode."

The statement indicated that a third drone had crashed in the dark Tarin Mountain, pointing out that the slogans "Qassem Al-Jabbarin, O Zahraa, and the name of God" were written on the wings of these drones.

The statement stressed that "the investigation into the incident is well under way, and the results will be announced in public."

A rocket reportedly landed in the capital of the Kurdistan Region, Erbil, earlier this morning, Saturday.

An Eyewitness told Shafaq News Agency that a rocket landed near Khanzad hotel on the road leading to Saladin summer resort.

The incident took place in Erbil at 3:00 am today, Saturday.
