Shafaq News / The Civil Aviation Authority announced that its Director General is following up the procedures at Erbil International Airport.
The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority media said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, that the Director General of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, Nael Saad Abdul Hadi, conducted a field tour accompanied by the director of Erbil International Airport, Ahmed Hoshyar,” adding that, “it realized that the Iraqi civil aviation is committed to the instructions issued by lCAO and the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety.”
The statement added, "The Erbil International Airport administration is committed to implementing health and preventive measures to ensure safe passenger movement during Coronavirus pandemic."
Erbil International Airport announced, early last August, that it had received the first plane coming from Baghdad after months of closure, while imposing a set of measures on travelers as part of measures to combat the Corona epidemic.
On July 23, the Iraqi authorities reopened their airports to tourist flights after a four-month closure, following the imposition of quarantine to stop the spread of the virus.
