Zebari will discuss today with Parliament Speaker , Ali Larijani , the developments in the region .

Zebari said at a news conference with his counterpart , Javad Zarifi that his visit to Iran is important and deals with life issues that go beyond mere friendship , noting that it was agreed on all the issuesin the talks.

He said that a great progress has been made on the demarcation issue of land border with Iran and signing the memorandum with Iran will be reached soon in the near future.

Zebari said he had discussed the Syrian crisis in Iran, and said , " We are all affected by the continuation of the Syrian crisis and the spread of extremism and terrorism in the region."

He expressed his optimism to overcome the wave of terrorism and extremism in Iraq.

Zebari said that the Iraqi Ministry of Defense issued a clarification yesterday in which it denied what has been promoted by media o the presence of Iranian arms deal with Iraq, saying that this announcement ends the matter.

He said that Iraq has returned to its position in the international community and on its Arab and regional levels , it is not absent anymore , stressing that Iraq today is the master of itself and its decisions , it is independent .

For his part, Foreign Minister of Iran , Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed that the Iranian and Iraqi peoples have become friends after turning the page on the past and start a new page , noting that Iran seeks constancy and stability in Iraq and stand by Iraqis .
