According to a statement issued by the National Coalition received by "Shafaq News", “ it political body has met in the office of the head of the Mwaten bloc’s office, Baqir al-Zubaidi and discussed at the regular meeting, the latest developments in the political arena and ways of activating the role of the National Coalition to enhance the formation of the largest parliamentary bloc and entrench the principles of genuine democracy and powerful partnership in the formation of the government .
The statement pointed out that the conferees took the current understandings among the political blocs and alliances to ensure future participation of all major parties in the political process and not to marginalize any component .
The statement noted that the forces of the Iraqi National Coalition stressed the respect of religious Marjiyaa in the foundations and public monuments made by the political forces in the nature of the formation of the next government and abide by its approach.
The statement added that the principle of the political participation of various political forces of the components of the Iraqi society is the solution to the problems of the country from crises based on the principle of efficiency, integrity and the ability to provide services for the management of the country which ensures the removal of a sense of exclusion and marginalization.
According to the statement , the coalition called on the political forces inside and outside of the National coalition to cooperate according to these criteria for the formation of the government in accordance with a specific timetable on the basis of consensus and dialogue.
The statement noted that the National Coalition has formed a committee of its members to continue dialogues and meetings with the winning national forces in the election in order to accomplish all constitutional requirements.
The statement disclosed that the National Coalition agreed on standards and specifications that must be met in the selection of candidates for the three presidencies , the Republic , the Parliament and the Council of Ministers to achieve the status of a national consensus to produce a harmonious strong team to lead the country .
The statement went on to the National Coalition formed a committee of its members for the preparation of the government program for the next phase in its final form and presented to the National Alliance , which meets the aspirations and challenges facing .
The statement concluded confirm the Iraqi National Coalition on the need to uphold the unity of the National Alliance , the coalition calling for the committee charged with preparing the draft rules of procedure of the National Alliance and determine the timeframe for the completion of it.
The political body of the Iraqi National Coalition , has expressed its rejections on Tuesday to submit the government program and a political candidate for the presidency of the Council of Ministers for the National coalition away from State of law coalition , led by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
The State of Law coalition had announced more than one occasion after the announcement of the legislative election’s results that had been held at the end of last April that its only candidate for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers is ,Nuri al-Maliki .
The members of Ahrar bloc and Mwaten bloc which represent a part of the National Coalition, stressed the pursuit of their lists to include a clause in the rules of procedure of the National coalition affiliated to the National Alliance that provides the mandate of the Prime Minister to two terms only .
