Shafaq News / Activists circulated on social media news that the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr had traveled to Lebanon after the appearance of Corona virus in the Iranian city of Qom where he lives.

The news was widely circulated with a picture of al-Sadr on a plane said to be his own plane.

But it is clear that the news are not true. The picture of al-Sadr on the plane that was cited dates back to 2016 and is not as recent as it was circulated.
