Shafaq News / Student rallies entered on Sunday to Tahrir Square in the center of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, to express their support for the demands of the popular protests against the ruling parties.
Thousands of university students from the Ministry of Higher Education walked to Tahrir Square, according to Shafaq News reporter.
The students carried pictures of hundreds of killed demonstrators who were killed during clashes with security forces and by armed factions suspected of being close to Iran since the protests erupted in early October.
The students made chants and carried banners supporting the demands of the popular movement calling for reform and the departure of the ruling political class.
