“The referendum , which includes members of the organizing committees , local committees ,subcommittees and supporters of the party from the other grades to prepare a report to the party’s leadership, the member of the political bureau of PUK , Nermin Othman said in an interview with " Shafaq News “.
She added that based on the data of this report , a decision will be taken regarding the party's participation or not in the new regional government , pointing out that her party did not choose any person for the post of deputy prime minister , which is of its entitlement .
She pointed out that everything said in this regard is speculation .
On the other hand , Othman expressed her displeasure over the statement of the Region’s presidency with respect to the approval of Kurdistan Parliament on the candidate for the post of President of the Republic .
And stressed "the need to be citizens of the Kurds in the disputed areas in the opinion of this subject and not confined to that part of the province of Kurdistan ."
On the fortunes of the governor of Kirkuk and leader in PUK , Najim al- Deean Kareem in this position , Othman said that the matter has not been decided yet.
The Presidency of Kurdistan Region has issued a statement which stressed that the presidency of the Republic is a national right of Kurd’s share through region’s consensus on a candidate for this position.
