Maliki responded yesterday and criticized strongly the Presidency of the parliament led by Osama al-Nujaifi and his two deputies Qusay al-Suhail , and Aref Tayfur , expressing his wishes for the next presidency to be different from the current one which he described as " failure with distinction ."
A statement by the coalition reported for " Shafaq News " , that " a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Osama Abdul Aziz al-Nujaifi, head of Motahedoun coalition on Wednesday evening that included all members of the leadership, as obligations and benefits have been considered for the next stage in detail , to achieve two goals , first : the interests of Iraqi citizens and the second : the goals and aspirations that Motahedoun wants to achieve . "
"The participants confirmed that opening to the political parties in the provinces which was won by ( Motahedoun ) is within the approach of coalition as a delegation has been formed for this purpose to coordinate and develop the participants between the coalition and the political parties".
" On the other hand , Motahedoun coalition decided to expand the scope of its talks with all parties in the political scene without exception to discuss the possibility of forming a national coalition based on the principles of true partnership , citizenship, and establishing a true civil state based on justice and equality,” the coalition added.
It is worth mentioning that the participating political blocs said repeatedly in the elections campaign that it aims to change the failure in the institutions of state and government during the two elections and the failure of infrastructure projects , reconstruction and the spread of financial and administrative corruption .
