The Board of Trustees in the Iraqi Media Network decided to isolate al-Shabot and appoint , Abu Mujahid al-Hail on his position.

The Board of Trustees has written a letter for Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki to decide on the issue.

An official source in the network told “Shafaq News", that “ al-Maliki rejected the decision of the trustees“.

He added, quoting a source in the cabinet that al-Maliki told the broad that "there is no conclusive evidence on dismissing al-Shabot".

Al-Shabot who occupied one of the seats in the Board of Trustees took the position of managing the Network Agency of the Iraqi Media Network in 2012, replacing the former manager , Abdul Karim al-Sudani .

Iraqi Media Network and in particular al- Iraqiya TV station is exposed to numerous accusations of financial and administrative corruption and bias to Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki.

The Iraqi Media Network , which was formed in 2003 includes a number of TV channels , radio stations , newspapers and weekly magazines .

The network was headed since its establishment by several managers began by Habib al-Sadr.
