The spokesman for the bloc , Muayed al- Tayyip stated in an interview with "Shafaq News", that “ oil wealth belongs to the people of Iraq and the Kurds are a part of it , the constitution gives the right to the region and governorates not organized by a region if a dispute took place with the center”.

He added that the region has exported this quantity which will deduct employees’ salaries for the past period and what has increased the situation is five percent of it from the Development Fund for Iraq as part of the compensation owed ​​to Kuwait and the remainder would be sent to the Federal Ministry of Finance .

He pointed out that officials in Baghdad were convinced that Kurdistan Region could not do this step and that the Kurdish leadership will be under " blackmail " in the end, pointing out that this did not happen .

He stressed that the region sells oil , noting that oil is always a required product that has a buyer in the end.

Kurdistan Region started selling oil since more than ten days ago to Turkey in the port of Ceyhan to the world markets in a move that has angered the Iraqi government , which confirmed by its senior officials that this is considered as theft and smuggling and rushed to announce that it has filed a lawsuit in the International Chamber of Commerce against Turkey , the region and the companies involved in the process.
