of Peshmarga forces of the past seven years to support its efforts to counter the threat of " terrorism."

Jaff demanded in a statement reported for " Shafaq News " , the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces , Nuri al-Maliki to pay the dues of Peshmarga forces , that she described as important element of the Iraqi defense system in the face of, " terrorism and al-Qaeda danger."

She added that after the penetration of " Daash terrorist organization " to most of Iraq's provinces , it became incumbent on everyone' to face it.

She explained that Peshmarga forces need arms and support in a way that commensurate with the threat against Iraq , stressing on exchanging dues from the budget to be able to confront this danger .

She noted that the federal government " owes " the region of these amounts because the dues of Peshmarga forces have not been paid since 2007 , noting that " terrorism " has become a foothold in most of the provinces and that " Daash terrorists " have came to areas under Article 140 .

She said that this matter needs weapons and military equipment to deter this " brutal organization that kills innocent people day and night ."

Al-Jaff believes that if Peshmarga dues had been paid and equipped with weapons , it would be an important factor and a positive step to counter the threat of " terrorism " in Iraq .

The problem of financing and equipping Kurdish security forces " Peshmarga " , is considered from the contention points of between the governments of Erbil and Baghdad , as the first emphasizes that these forces are part of the defense system of Iraq and it is the duty of the government to arm and fund them because it is charged with protecting the borders and the lives of citizens in the region , but Baghdad insists that these forces must obey the orders of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense to become part of its system .
