The director of the media office of the department, Salim Kadhim said in a statement received by "Shafaq News" that "the department announces recording a second death to a victim (68) years of age from Al-Ghadeer neighborhood, as he arrived Imam Al-Hussein city last night, and he was in a critical condition. "
He explained that "samples were taken for him and sent to the central health laboratory in Baghdad, but he died (yesterday), before the results of the laboratory tests were announced this morning, which confirmed his infection with the epidemic virus.
Kadhem said, "The family of the citizen will be transferred and subjected to quarantine in the places designated for that." He stressed that "the department is making exceptional efforts, and that the precautionary measures taken to prevent the spread of the disease in the governorate are tightened."
