Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment declared today, Monday, the registration of 1115 new active Covid-19 cases, 386 cases of recovery and 24 fatalities during the past 24 hours.

The ministry said in a statement received by ShafaqNews agency, that 8927 tests were performed today, raising the total number of performed tests since the beginning of the outbreak in Iraq to 311980.

The newly diagnosed cases are distributed among the Iraqi cities as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Rusafa: 232

Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 193

Medical city: 110

Najaf: 50

Basra: 55

Al-Sulaymaniyah: 85

Erbil: 15

Duhok: 2

Karbala: 47

Wasit: 107

Kirkuk: 13

Diyala: 18

Babel: 31

Maysan: 82

Al-Diwaniyah: 3

Dhi Qar: 38

Al-Muthanna: 13

Saladin: 17

Nineveh: 4

The statement indicated that the cases of recovery amounted to 386 cases, distributed as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 75

Najaf: 3

Basra: 56

Al-Sulaymaniyah: 50

Karbala: 37

Diyala: 1

Kirkuk: 4

Maysan: 3

While 24 mortality cases were registered, as follows:

The total number of confirmed cases registered since the beginning of the outbreak reached 13481, while the total number of recoveries became 5572. The total number of Inpatients is 7539, including 75patients admitted to ICU. The death toll is 370
