Hayes said in an interview with " Shafaq News " , that “ the soldiers and officers who were killed in Horan Valley are majority of Anbar people from its different regions”.

“Terrorism kills daily a number of residents of Anbar province, “adding that “in spite of what happened, the security situation throughout the province is under the control of the security forces,” Hayes said.

The Ministry of Defense appointed Brigadier General, Qassim al-Mohammadi as a leader of seventh brigade in the Iraqi army , succeeding brigadier-general , Mohammed al-Korawi , who was killed yesterday in a security operation in HoranValley.

The seventh brigade , Ground Forces Command and the Special Division of support by the Army Air are conducting a major military operation in Western desert adjacent to the Syrian border .
