Shafaq News/ A number of demonstrators were injured Friday morning after security forces dispersed a gathering near the Green Zone.

Protesters began arriving in the Green Zone on Thursday evening; some of them heading towards the Green Zone, but security forces dispersed them with water cannons.

The demonstrators on Friday repeated their attempt to go to the Green Zone in greater numbers, before security forces used tear gas and fired bullets in the air to disperse them, injuring several people.
