then Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) the second place and Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) that came the third in the results of the provincial elections in Sulaymaniyah province.

IHEC said at a news conference attended by " Shafaq News", that “Change movement obtained 12 seats in provincial council’s elections in Sulaymaniyah then PUK that got 11 seats and KDP that got three seats “.

IHEC noted that Kurdistan Islamic Union won three seats followed by the Islamist group that won two seats , National Alliance of Kurdistan won one seat , then Rafidain list got one seat too.

The security committee in Sulaymaniyah province has taken on Thursday, tight security in conjunction with the announcement of the results of provincial council’s elections of the region in order to preserve the security and stability of the province.
