“ Barzani met in the context of his meetings on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos , on Friday with the official of Middle East and North Africa file in Maiorslao BodachtForum, a statement for the presidency of the region , reported for " Shafaq News " said.
The statement said that during the meeting Bodacht expressed his thanks to the President of Kurdistan Region and his accompanying delegation for participating for the second time in this Economic Forum , calling on Kurdistan Region to participate in the Forum next year .
The statement added that Barzani met and his accompanying delegation , the leader of the Tunisian Renaissance Movement , Rashed al-Ghannouchi , noting that the two sides discussed the political situation in Tunisia after the phase change of the government system, in addition to the current political situation in Iraq in general and Anbar city in particular.
In the same context , the statement by the Presidency of the Region , Barzani met with his accompanying delegation , the Prime Minister of Georgia , Aarakulai Krobescqele and his entourage , as Krobescqele expressed his country's desire to develop relations with Kurdistan Region , especially from the economic side .
The statement noted that the two sides stressed the importance of relations between the two countries, explaining that Krobescqele expressed the readiness of his country to send a special delegation to visit Kurdistan Region to conduct talks on setting up a mechanism for cooperation and development and strengthening relations between the two parties.
Barzani participates for the second year in a row at the World Economic Forum in Davos , which discusses the economic and political situation in many countries and regions of the world and ways to contribute in addressing the problems.
