“Barzani and Erdogan will discuss many of the issues concerning the economic and trade relations development , opening of border crossings and cooperation in the energy field between Erbil and Ankara , adding that the two sides will discuss the current situation in the region in general ,”The media secretary to the Prime Minister , Sami Arkoshi said in a statement reported for " Shafaq News “.

Barzani is the Vice President of Kurdistan Democratic Party and its candidate for the post of head of the new government in Kurdistan region , after his party got the first place in the parliamentary elections in the region , which took place last September after winning 38 seats out of 111 seats of the Parliament .

Barzani has held a series of negotiations with the winning parties as Change movement that has befallen seconds and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan , which declined to third place and the Islamist parties after it as well as smaller parties and representatives in the parliament , without formally declared a final agreement to form a government so far .
