A statement issued by the Presidency of the region received by “Shafaq News", said that “ President Barzani met on Tuesday the president of a National Coalition , Iyad Allawi and his accompanying delegation .

The statement added that the two sides discussed during the meeting, the political situation in the region , the security and political situation in Iraq , in addition to Anbar crisis.

The statement noted that the two sides discussed the differences between Kurdistan Region and Baghdad and the upcoming parliamentary elections , where the two sides stressed that the political process in Iraq has reached a dead end and must make drastic changes .

According to the statement, the delegation demanded the President of Kurdistan Region to perform his role in the upcoming changes in Iraq and correct path of the political process .

The current government has been formed by Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki according to Erbil agreement sponsored by the region's president , Massoud Barzani at the request of the forces and parties involved in the political process , but quickly those parties swapped accusations of undermining the terms of Erbil agreement.

It seems that there is almost a consensus of the blocs that Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki had marginalized and excluded " partners in addition to his " failure " to run the state and improve the service and the standard of living as well as security in the country , but the latter’s coalition denied the charges .
