Shafaq News / Activists and eyewitnesses reported on Sunday that an activist in the demonstrations was assassinated and that two of her sons were injured by unknown armed men in Nasiriyah city in Dhi Qar Governorate, southern Iraq.
Activists and witnesses said today that unidentified people stormed the house of Umm Abbas", which always launches enthusiastic songs that encourage protests in Al-Haboubi Square in Nasiriyah city.
They added that the gunmen killed the woman and wounded two of her sons.
