Shafaq News / A Shiite armed faction calling itself the "Revolutionary League", broadcast on Wednesday a video clip of surveillance aircraft flying over Ein al-Asad air base.

Ein al-Assad is considered the second largest US air base in Iraq.

The faction said in a brief statement, “What you saw from filming the embassy of evil was not the first of our exploratory operations, nor the last of them.

This faction first appeared last month, when it adopted an attack on "Taji" base, north of the capital, Baghdad, in which 14 members of the international coalition forces were casualties.

A previous report by "Kayhan London" newspaper stated that "the establishment of the rebel league, and its announcement of targeting Taji base, means that the Iranian regime is making new moves against the United States in Iraq, and handing over these tasks to new mercenary forces within the proxy war groups that Tehran is seeking."

The League of Revolutionaries militia had published a video a few days ago from the air showing the embassy building in Baghdad, vowing revenge for the killing of the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who were killed in an American raid around Baghdad airport early January.
