Shafaq News/ The Supreme Security Committee for Elections announced that security measures had been tightened following the end of voting.
The committee said in a statement that it had issued strict orders to security units in all governorates to tighten security measures around polling stations, registration centers, and the Independent Electoral Commission offices, to protect the ballot boxes and preserve the integrity of the elections.
The Parliamentary elections' polls closed at 6 pm today.
