Shafaq News / The Parliamentary finance committee announced submitting the Emergency support for food security and development bill, signed by 25 MPs, as an alternative to the annulled, previously-submitted bill by the current caretaker government.
The committee said in a statement on Wednesday that the bill was presented based on Article 112 of the Iraqi constitution.
On Sunday, Iraq's Federal Supreme Court dealt a blow to the emergency bill on food security and development.
