Shafaq News Agency reporter in Kirkuk said that about 150 engineers renewed this morning their demonstrations in front of the governorate building to demand government positions, indicating that all the demonstrators are graduates of the colleges of oil and electrical engineering.
The graduates of the Faculties of Engineering in Kirkuk organized sit-ins in front of the governorate building to demand their appointment, after they obtained a bachelor’s degree in their specializations 9 -10 years ago.
The demonstrators raised several slogans, including "Engineering is dying ... Marginalization without appointment, without protection, without guarantee." "I am an engineer. I want my right ... stop injustice."
