Shafaq News/ Iraqi security forces thwarted attempts to target supply convoys of the Global Coalition today.
The Security Media Cell (SMC) said that a force from the Federal Intelligence Agency identified four roadside bombs set to strike the supply convoys on the highway linking Baghdad and Basra.
The bombs were detonated on-site by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal expert, according to SMC.
