Shafaq News / The General Secretariat of the Iraqi Council of Ministers announced, on Friday, the arrival of medical equipment from Qatar and Jordan to Iraq.
"Two planes arrived at the martyr Muhammad Ala air base in Baghdad, and a third arrived at Basra airport, loaded with two field hospitals equipment provided by Qatar", General Secretariat spokesman Haidar Majeed told Shafaq News agency, adding that, " the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan provided five trucks, loaded with 16 tons of medical materials and a number of PPE kits".
It is noteworthy that here are fears of a healthcare system collapse, due to COVID-19 caseload surge in Iraq.
