Shafaq News / The Military Intelligence Directorate announced, on Monday, the arrest of the new military official of ISIS, south of Baghdad, hours before assuming his post.

A statement of the Directorate, received by Shafaq News Agency, stated that "with a qualitative intelligence operation, the Military Intelligence Division and the Intelligence of the 24th Brigade managed to arrest the new military official of the so-called division of south of Baghdad."

It explained that the arrested is "one of the terrorists who participated in the attack on the 1st regiment / 54th Brigade, and he is also one of the most wanted people to the judiciary according to the provisions of Article 4 terrorism."
