Shafaq News / A medical source in Baghdad reported today that al-Kadhimiya and al-Yarmouk hospitals in al-Karkh received doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Earlier today, the first batch of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The Ministry of Health and Environment spokesperson, Seif el-Badr, said that a cargo jet carrying Pfizer vaccines landed in Baghdad's International Airport.

Iraq laid vaccination rollouts with Sinopharm and AstraZeneca vaccines received from China and England.
