Shafaq News / On Thursday, the Vice President of the Iraqi Parliament, Bashir Al-Haddad, called on the federal government and the Kurdish Government to resolve the outstanding issues between the two parties in accordance with the constitution.
A statement issued by Al-Haddad’s office received by Shafaq News agency stated that, “in light of the two statements issued by the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq and the Federal Ministry of Finance recently about the region’s relationship with the federal government, the deputy al-Haddad called the two governments to return to dialogue and resume discussions and agreement in accordance with the constitutional and legal mechanisms To resolve all outstanding issues between the two parties, indicating that the citizen in the region is most affected by the delay of the talks.”
The statement quoted Al-Haddad as saying, "The federal government is obligated to insure financial dues and the salaries of the region’s employees and retireesand in return, the region must fulfill its constitutional obligations."
