Shafaq News / The leader of the "Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq" party, Qais Khazali, Friday, accused the United States of America -without mentioning it by name- of being behind the kidnapping of a German activist in Baghdad.
Khazali said in a tweet, "The kidnapping of the German activist Hella Mavis in terms of the location of her kidnapping and then the speed of her release lead to a lot of questions."
He added, "We believe that the “third party” is behind this process to send a message to Germany and its company Siemens.
A while ago, The German Company Siemens is competing with the American General Electric for contracts of $ 14 billion to rebuild the electricity sector in Iraq.
Earlier Friday, The Iraqi authorities announced the liberation of the German activist 72 hours after she was kidnapped by unknown persons in the capital, Baghdad.
