Shafaq News / An official security source said on Wednesday that an explosion targeted a convoy carrying logistical support for the international coalition in Saladin governorate, north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The source told Shafaq News Agency that "an explosive device had exploded targeting a convoy of logistical support for the US-coalition forces, on the highway in Saladin.
The source did not give any further details.
The frequency of attacks targeting columns of trucks transporting international coalition supplies has escalated over the past few weeks.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Pro-Iranian armed factions including the Iraqi Kata’ib Hezbollah have threatened to target US forces and interests if they do not withdraw from the country
