Shafaq News / A local source in Diyala reported today, Sunday, that an earthquake struck the border area between Iraq and Iran, and was felt by residents of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The source told Shafaq News agency, "A 4.7- magnitude earthquake struck, at 12:17 pm-Baghdad time, the border area between Iraq and Iran".
"The earthquake affected the city of Khanaqin in Diyala governorate, and was felt by the residents of the capital, Baghdad", the source added.
