Shafaq News/ Iraq announced today, Thursday, launching several military operations and air strikes that took down dozens of terrorists in different territories in the country. The operations were orchestrated by the Joint Operations Command in cooperation with the Iraqi and coalition air forces.
A spokesman of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces said, in a statement received by Shafaq News agency that, "the counter-terrorism forces carried on multiple operations -in separate areas throughout the country- that provided the international coalition air forces with accurate coordinates of ISIS locations".
He explained, "Accordingly, the coalition air forces launched 26 air strikes, killing 19 terrorists in the Qara chok mountains, south of Makhmor district (between the provinces of Erbil and Nineveh)".
The spokesman added that," anti-terrorist forces also arrested two ISIS members in Al-Fallujah district and destroyed three ISIS headquarters in Huron Valley in al-Anbar".
