to deal with flooding that may result from rain for the current year in all provinces of the country.
The minister said in a statement that the Council of Ministers, based on Resolution No. 332 taken in its recent agreed to allocate 20 billion dinars to deal with flooding caused by rain water in Baghdad and across the provinces.
He explained that the decision stipulates that the Ministry of Finance allocate an amount sixteen billion five hundred million dinars to the Ministry of Construction and Housing and public municipalities and the allocation of three billion and five hundred million dinars to the Municipality of Baghdad to deal with floods caused by rain water in Baghdad
Al- Kikhany noted that the ministry will continue to service the campaign launched to raise the level of services and follow-up projects in Baghdad and the provinces, which started from Karbala province, as streets has been paved , planting ,establishment and maintenance of water and electricity for a number of areas of the province took place in order to develop its infrastructure.
